CHEESEMAKERS SPECIAL - 200g

This cheese was made on the 1st November 2019. The Cheesemaker (Arthur Alsop )'s thought was to get a sweet caramel undertone to come through a cheese; this was achieved by tweaking the cultures, temperature and curd size. On the 23rd of March, he suddenly had nothing to do but look after his cheese in the maturing rooms. He decided to open one of the wheels. On the initial taste, he realised that this was a very special cheese, and would be amazing for Christmas. Think of “salted caramel”. This cheese hits your taste buds with delightful caramel undertones and crunchy calcium crystals.

MAYFIELD - 200g

A semi-hard cheese with natural eyes and a creamy, smooth texture and a sweet, nutty taste. Highly awarded in its life with a Gold - British Cheese Awards, Gold three stars -in the Great Taste Awards, Super Gold in the World Cheese Awards, Silver in the Great British Food Awards.

SUSSEX BRIE - 250g

Creamy, grassy-tasting soft cheese, with a natural edible white rind. Winner of a Gold Award in the Great British Food Awards.

Cheese Companion

Cheese Companion is a delightful accompaniment for our cheeses, made from locally sourced English eating apples with a hint of garlic.
